Ranking System

The Ranking points are worked out on a computerised mathematical system that compiles lists in the following categories: Senior Men, Senior Women, Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Cadet Boys, Cadet Girls, Veteran Men, Veteran Women, Under 13 Boys and Under 13 Girls.

Any player in the top 750 of the World Senior Ranking list will be placed on top of the Welsh Ranking List

On the 1st September each year the ranking points are divided by 5 for the start of each season

The method of awarding points is set out below.

Calculations resulting in half point (e.g. 7.5) is rounded up immediately and automatic.
