The Welsh Cadet Masters will be the first event of the season for Welsh boy and girl cadets. It will be based on the successful Dragon events system on an invitation basis. Ranking points will be awarded at the event. Entry forms will be out soon.

Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd June sees the opening of the new table tennis academy which is Cardiff City Table Tennis Club CCTTC will hold a 2 day opening weekend which is free for players to sample

The TTAW selection committee have decided to send 4 junior girls to the European Youth Champs in July. The championships will be held in the newly opened Werner Schlager academy in Schwechat, near Vienna

Junior and cadet ranking event in Abertillery
Matthew Francis (Swansea), Jac Jenkins (Pontypridd), Lydia John (Swansea) and Charlotte Slye (Ferndale) were the young winners at the Welsh Championships today in Cardiff.
Matthew beat fellow squad player Harry Langley in a tight U11 boy's final with both players playing good table tennis. Lydia beat Ael y Bryn's Bethany Brewer in the U11 girl's final round robin match.
