England make a clean sweep of the team events. Winning the Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Cadet Boys and Cadet Girls.

Wales got a silver in the Cadet Girls and bronze in the Junior Girls

Come and join us at the Welsh Institute of Sport Cardiff and watch our best Juniors and Cadets take on the English, Irish, Scottish, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.

The championships start at 17:00 on Friday night the 13th March 2009 with two sets of team matches, Saturday start 09:30 with three sets of team matches and Sunday 09:00 will start with the Singles groups ending with the finals at approx 13:00 hrs

The Newport Junior Open 2009

The Newport Junior Open was held on Sunday 1 March. With one of the biggest entries ever it was bound to be a very busy day. Competitors from all over Wales and 1 from England arrived at Newport ready to battle for the title of Newport Open Champion.

37th Safir Open

The trip to Sweden proved to be an invaluable experience for our young Welsh team who competed at the 37th Safir International tournament over the weekend 20th – 22nd February.
