Table Tennis Wales (TTW)

All 7 players were in action today in the individual events and 2 players made it through to the knockout stages

Charlotte Carey and Angharad Phillips made it into the last 32 but couldn't progress any further. Charlotte lost to Mittelham (cadet European Champion 2011) of Germany 4-0 and Angharad lost to Imamura also of Germany 4-1.

Conor Edwards and Megan Phillips were close to progressing but lost out in the vital last qualifying match. Megan lost to Kiedrowska of Poland 3-1 and Conor lost to Allegro of Belgium 3-0.

Alex Prosser, Lewis Williams and Chloe Thomas failed to score a win but fought very hard in the meantime.

The doubles didn't go to plan with all 4 pairs (Lewis joined with Igor Morais) losing out to their opponents

Tomorrow will see Alex, Lewis, Conor, Megan and Chloe all in action in the consolation event with the team events starting on Friday
