Wales came away from Largs, Scotland with silver and 2 bronze medals at the 6 nations singles events.
Lewis Williams almost overturned a previous group stage loss against England's Igor Morais losing in a close 3-1 final. Lewis came from 0-2 down in his semi final against Jared Patel to win 3-2.
Chloe Thomas and Daniel O'Connell both received bronze medals having lost to Natalie Slater (3-1) and Sean Doherty (3-0) respectively in their semi finals. Dan came through the 'group of death' beating Ireland's Ashley Robinson and Scotland's Callum Main to claim top spot.
Wales had various Q-Finalists in the draw. Josh Jenkins drew his team mate Dan in the junior boys losing 0-3. Charlotte Carey finished runner up in her group losing to Ashley Givan 2-3 and lost to Ashley's team mate Edel in her Q-Final. Cameron Thomas lost to the on form and eventual runner up Sean Doherty 0-3. Megan Phillips could have leveled her match against eventual winner Chloe Whyte at 1-1, but failed to and lost 0-3. After beating Scott Barton in the team event on Friday 3-2, Lee Morgan lost to him this time in the Q-Finals. Beth Roberts, after progressing through her group, lost to England’s Charley Kirby.
Consolation Event - Hannah Avery lost to Linda Flaws (Scotland) in the final of the junior girl’s event 1-3. Conor Edwards lost to one of the Stacey twins and Nicole Hall lost to Kate Subbington both of Guernsey in their match ups.
