Stiga 2* Tournament, Blackpool
A group of players from Denbigh brought home another clutch of trophies from Blackpool last weekend.
Chloe Edwards, Gabbi Wan, Victoria Brookes, Connor Brookes and Cail Evans travelled to Blackpool early on Sunday morning to take part in the Stiga 2-star Tournament at the Palatine Leisure Centre. Thirteen-year-old Chloe was once again star of the day, playing exceptionally well to take the Cadet Girls title, triumphing over Emily Ross of Lancashire 3-1 in the final.
Nine-year-old Victoria Brookes, playing in her second tournament of the weekend (she was at WIS on Saturday, for the Primary School trials!) claimed the runner-up spot in the Under-11 girls event.
