Wales victorious over the Bridge
It was a very warm welcome from the staff at Filton College, which included the head principal Kevin Hambel and the table tennis manager Kevin Satchell. There were over 100 vocal pupils from the home team supporting their fellow students throughout the match.
Neil Wright and Ceri James were both unavailable which meant Patrick Thomas, Nick Brown, Lewis Williams and Cameron Thomas were the Wales ‘A’ team that won 11-5 against Filton ‘A’ at the Bristol academy of sport. Scott Crawford and Lloyd Gregory both won 2 matches for the hosts. Dan Kolesnik won their 5th match. Patrick Thomas won all 4 of his singles and Nick Brown had a great win against Filton number 1 Tom Maynard 3-1.
Patrick won 4, Nick won 3, Lewis won 2 & Cameron won 2
