The TTAW is looking for a part time coach, approx. 20hrs a week, to work in the Cardiff area. The coach should preferably have UKCC qualifications and be capable of working with little supervision. For more details contact the TTAW on admin@ttaw.co.uk
The Welsh table tennis team continue to produce some fantastic results at the Oostende masters in Belgium. Stephen Gertsen and Nick Brown were unlucky to lose out in the Q-Final of the doubles on Friday night, but Gertsen quickly picked himself up in the band B2-B4 singles to win a credible bronze medal and bring home more silverware.
Patrick Thomas played some of his best table tennis to date to take home a silver medal at the U21 competition in the Ostende Masters.
Patrick fought through countless rounds against European competitors to face a ferocious Chinese player in the final who proved too strong.
The Table Tennis Association of Wales Ltd. has appointed Aled Rhys Howell as the first welsh speaking Development Coach. Aled will work in the Llanelli and Carmarthen areas starting at the beginning of September, we wish him all the best in his new post.
