The Welsh boys & girls teams both won silver medals at The Primary Schools International, after only losing to England. I was very impressed with both teams, especially the girls as three of them had not played in this tournament before. They were Beth Roberts, Sasha Denby & Lauren Cundy who were well led by Charlotte Carey. The boys team were Lewis Williams, Alex O Connell, Lee Morgan & Jonathan Tann.
In the boys singles Lewis lost in the semi final to Helshan Weeerasinghe 3 games to 2 and so won a bronze medal.
In the girls singles Charlotte lost in the semi final to Tin Tin Ho 3 games to 2 and won a bronze medal.
Overall a fine performance from both teams.
