NATASHA REES BEATS ENGLISH No1 IN STOCKTON.
An impressive Natasha Rees reached the final of the Stockton-On-Tees 4 Star Junior Championships last weekend.. In the quarter final she beat the English Number 1 Karina Lefevre and in the semi final team mate Megan Phillips before eventually losing to Alice Loveridge of Guernsey.
In the team competition Megan and Chloe lost in a very close match to the eventual winners England while Natasha and Angharad went out in the semi finals.
All four Welsh cadet girls Natasha Rees, Angharad Phillips , Megan Phillips and Chloe Thomas played exceptionally well all weekend and their performances would certainly have impressed the UK selectors at this the first BTTF Selector Observation event.
In the boys competition Wales was represented by Patrick Thomas and Ceri James
and in the cadets by Huw Jones, Lewis Williams, Sammy Sharif and Josh Jenkins.
